Can a woman in Christ teach?
Can a woman teach? yes according to scripture, Her head must be covered why? 1Corth:11-5 If her head is uncovered she dishonoureth her head or her husband.
With her head covered she operates under the authority and power of her husband. Spiritually Christ is her head, he is Head of the Church (Col:1-18)
v-10
For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the
angels: 2Corth:11-14) Satan transforming himself as an angel of light,
and his demons doing the same.
Let me start by reading, Ephe:5-23,25 (For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church and he is the Saviour of the body)
We will show through scripture how Godly women from the old to the new spoke the wisdom of God and blessed Israel and others.
I'm not here to prove if women can be Apostles, Bishops, or Pastors I want to show women all over the world that are in Christ, you can preach, teach and do the works of Jesus now in this generation.
Moses mother nursed and taught him as a child into adulthood; Ex:2,7-9
2 Tim,1-5, Lois Timothy's grandmother and his mother taught him as a child into adulthood;
Judges 4 and 5 chapt: tell of the great leader Deborah. She was not only a judge but also a prophetess. As Deborah prophesied the Lord shall sell Sisera into the hands of a woman, v-21 it happened.
Naomi and Ruth: (A redemption story)
Joel:2,28-29 .......Acts:2-17
And it shall come to pass afterward, that
I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young
men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
2 Chronicles 34:22, about the prophetess Huldah, to whom the king of Israel sent a emissary of five men among whom was Hilkiah the high priest and Shaphan the secretary. to ask her about the will of God with reference to the book of the law that had been found.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Now we are going to the New Testament and see how the woman spoke. In the New Covenant, you have to separate family from ministry or you won't see what God is doing through the woman.
1Tim:2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. This word man here is talking about the husbandman in the Greek: referring to gender. The husband head over his wife and home. In Christ the Lord is not looking at gender.
In Christ there is no gender: we are all one, one body with many members fitted together for one purpose to show a lost soul the way to salvation. If your husband tell you to do something against the word of God you don't have to do it use wisdom, other wise you are to obey him. He is the head of the house.
Two witnesses: 11Corth:5,16-17, Gal: 3,28-29 we are all one in Christ, equal in every way. Christ is the head of the church, Col:1-18 1Corth:11-3 Man is head of the woman, his wife.
let me ask this question is Jesus a man? No!!! that's why the Lord used him as an example. God don't see you as a man, male or female if you are in the body of Christ, he see you as one of his servants, anointed and ready to be used for his glory. We are bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus. 1Pet:1,18-19
David took down a lion, a bear, and the giant Goliath because he was anointed. What about you and I that are in the body of Christ, we are anointed to do the works Jesus did if you believe.
So how are we in Christ to see each other? The way God see us, as Christ in the earth: his anointed servants, Don't starting tripping Christ is not Jesus last name it mean the anointing or anointed one.
Matt:3,13-17 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
So when did you get anointed? At the baptism just like Jesus did.
1Corth:6-17
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Gal;3-27,28
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There
is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is
neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
You must see yourself as Jesus see you to complete the work in him you were called to do. Is:10-27, It's the anointing that destroy the yoke.
2Corth:5,17-20 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Jn:20 16-18
Mary Magdalene sent by Jesus to go tell the brothers and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father; and to my God, and to your God
Eph:2-6 Seated together with Christ in the heavenly places,
Acts:1,13-14 men and women 120 men and women in the upper room
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Acts:18,24-26 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
Lk:2,36-38 Ana prophesied in the temple
1Corth:11-5...The woman can pray and prophecy with their head covered, preach and teach.
Rom:16-7,v-12 all women who are of note among the Apostle: special people Paul spoke of. Andronicus and Junia, said to be husband and wife Apostles in the faith.
Priscilla and Aquila; This husband and wife duo worked together as tent makers and in ministry. Taught by Apostle Paul, they traveled with him and assisted him in ministry.
They became great teachers and helped many but one young man Apollos understand the word more perfectly. They became Pastors and established a church in their house.
The Samaritan Woman, at the well: Jn:4-4
Two women are known as leaders of house churches (the only type of church there was in the first century!): Chloe (1 Corinthians 1:11), Apphia (Philemon 2).
These thirteen women (Lydia, Chloe, Nympha, Apphia, Mary, Persis, Tryphena, Tryphosa, Priscilla, Euodia, Syntyche, Phoebe, and Junia) provide clear evidence from Paul that women did participate in the gospel ministry, as did men.Paul’s common terminology made no distinctions in roles or functions between men and women in ministry, he called them fellow prisoners and servants.
During the persecution against Christians under the emperor Nero (54-68), the holy Apostles Archippus and Philemon and Apphia were brought to trial by the ruler Artocles for confessing faith in Christ.
Saint Archippus was brutally slashed with knives. After torture, they buried Saints Philemon and Apphia up to the waist in the ground and stoned them until they died.
To the woman that know Jesus called you to one of the gifts he left before He ascended on high, you operate in that gift with all your might believing,
Phil:1-6 Being confident of this very thing that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Yes, there is going to be some persecution but listen to the word!!!
Rom:8-18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Ephe:3-20, For God is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above, all that we can ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.
